Neo Jazz School of Music presents...Neo Jazz Collective's Tribute to Motown

Neo Jazz Collective, a "collective" of young, gifted, and professional musicians with a trend setting sound, will pay homage to the eras and genres of music that inspired their sound. The Neo Jazz Collective will do a Tribute to Motown on Sunday September 18th at the Highland Conference Center located at 2012 Magnolia Avenue in Five Points South.

The Neo Jazz Collective will be accompanied by the amazingly talented and hard working recording artist ReeAl. Also a special performance by Birmingham's own Take-7. Members include Manager/Drummer, Otha Richardson; Vocalist, Mrs. C. Armstrong; Lead Guitar, Marcus Noel; Saxophone, Tyrone Cooks; Keyboard, Nathanial Willis; and Bass Guitar, Ken Olive. With a sound heavily influenced by jazz, they came together with a mission of buiding fun relationships through music.

This show as well as previous tributes to Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley has been presented by the Neo Jazz School of Music. The Neo Jazz School of Music's efforts are to provided live entertainment for families and to educate our youth about the inspirational and thought provoking music of our past. A portion of the proceeds will supporth the Neo Jazz School of Music's mission to enact a positive change in the youth of our community though an education in music and the arts also to educate, train, and devolop gifted students into professional career artist.
